On 12 January 2018, Mr. Rolf-Dieter Daniel (former President of EABC) led the EABC delegates to visit H.E. Waldemar Dubaniowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland and Mr. Tomasz Miklaszewski, Economic Counsellor. The meeting discussed economic view of Thailand, railway infrastructure projects, education, importance of liberalisation of services sector, intellectual property to support Thailand 4.0 as well as to call for supports for the resumption of EU-Thailand. Other participating delegates were Vice President Mr. Jan Eriksson, Dr. Thavirap Tantiwongse, EABC Board and Chair of Healthcare Working Group / Gold Partner / GSK, Mr. Georg Wolff, EABC Board and Chair of Infrastructure Working Group / Silver Partner / Civil Engineering Solutions, Mr. Chaladbhum Temkasem, EABC Executive Director, and Ms. Pimonnat Srichouy, EABC Intern.
EABC was established as a Consortium with sixteen Business Organizations and Chambers of Commerce in Thailand and Europe. In Thailand, those chambers and similar organisations have some 2,000 members. With strong support from the European Union, EABC interacts as the unified voice of European business aiming to contribute towards the improvement of trade and investment in Thailand fostering stronger business cooperation between Europe and Thailand.
