Smart Mobility Symposium Bangkok, 6 October 2017, Makkasan Airport Link Station
The first "Smart Mobility Symposium"
in Thailand will take place on the 6th of October 2017
at Makkasan Airport Link Railway Station, Bangkok
, under the title of “Bridging the Grids”. Speakers from Thailand, Germany, Korea and Singapore will share their insights into present trends and their visions of the future of urban interconnected mobility in Mega-Cities. An exhibition will surround the stage, where a diverse range of companies from local start-up to global player showcase their vehicles, technologies and know-how of all the mobility-related industries.
The Minister of Transport, Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, and the German Ambassador to Thailand, HE Peter Prügel, will open the event.The event is organized by a partnership of the International Sirindhorn Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS, at KMUTNB), RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and the Personal Mobility Research Center (PMRC, Seoul, Republic of Korea).
The event is co-chaired by the Thai Railway Engineering Association (TREA), the Ministry of Transport (MOT), the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP), Airport Rail Link (SRTET) and the State Railway of Thailand (SRT).
The event is sponsored by SIEMENS Ltd. Thailand, BMW Manufacturing Thailand Co., Ltd., Schaeffler Group, Covestro (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Joy Bicycle Thailand.
The symposium is an event under the “German-Thai Railway Partnership (GTRP)”. All keynote speeches are in English; translation services to Thai are available.
